Construction of this project consisted of clearing, cut, fill, erosion control, asphalt and concrete paving, grassing, grading, drainage, underground piping, underground electrical, turbine foundations, miscellaneous foundations and auger cast piling.

Hill Brothers was instrumental in the final phases of the parkway’s construction, in which several miles of parkway and seven bridges were constructed.

This project consists of a directional interchange connecting Interstates 20 and 55 and U.S.

This project consisted of constructing a new concrete trestle on offset alignment over Willow Creek, mile 368.90, Cairo Subdivision, in Wickliffe, Kentucky for Canadian National Railroad.

Hill Brothers performed the concrete removal, grading, fabric placement and erosion control under the initial site work package for the Weyerhaeuser Wood Yard Expansion Project in Columbus, MS. We were also awarded contracts to perform the foundations under Concrete Foundation Package 2 ($300,000.) and Package 3 ($376,625.) in July 2005.

The Hill Brothers/Wilbur Smith Team’s Design-Build proposal was selected to perform the reconstruction of the Deramus Yard in Shreveport, Louisiana.

The Highway 82 Greenville Bridge and Approach Project, in Greenville, Mississippi is an $85 million contract.

Hill Brothers performed as a major subcontractor on the Kissimmee River Restoration Project, Contract 13A, located in Okeechobee and Highlands Counties, Florida.

Hill Brothers was awarded this project by the New Orleans District Corps of Engineers as part of their Emergency Restoration Plan - The London Avenue Canal Levees Seepage Cutoff Project located in the Lake Pontchartrain Louisiana Vicinity.

Hill Brothers was awarded the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport “2006 Airfield Improvements” contract in September of 2006.

This project was a $2.3 million Rough Grading Contract consisting of all clearing and grubbing, stripping, grading, storm drainage, and erosion control.

This project was the placement of the Magnolia Street Bridge at Mile post VM121.9 in Edwards, MS. The project consisted of demolishing and disposing of the existing timber bridge; loading, hauling, and placing over 500 tons of sub ballast; over 300 CY of concrete; installation of 2,000 LF H-Piles; installation of KCS supplied brick veneered wall and coping; installation of backfill and tunnel liner; installation of erosion control fencing; and grass seeding, fertilizing, and mulching.

Hill Brothers was awarded the Site Civil Construction Package for the new PACCAR Facility to be constructed in Columbus, MS. This mass grading contract consisting of 90 acres includes clearing and grubbing, utility excavation, storm drainage excavation, storm sewer, underground drainage, erosion control, site stabilization, sanitary sewer, demolition, installation of water lines and fire protection, concrete paving and curbs, signage, paint striping and fencing.

Hill Brothers performed the Earthwork & Drainage Package for the new Alabama Railcar Facility constructed in Cherokee, Alabama.

This project is a levee enlargement and berm construction project located in Issaquena County, MS. The project consists of clearing and grubbing; 833,000 cubic yards levee embankment; 105,000 berm embankment; water control structures; removing gravel surfacing and replacing with crushed stone levee surfacing; corrugated metal pipe, stone protection; removing, stockpiling and replacing cattle guards and existing concrete beams; furnishing materials for embankments, storm water pollution prevention and environmental protection.

The Dwyer Road Intake Canal project includes the construction of a 7,000 linear foot box culvert at a depth of 14’ to 16’ located in the 9th Ward in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Hill Brothers is under contract with Baton Rouge Southern Rail Road to enlarge the existing KCS yard.

This project includes the construction necessary to relocate State Route 6 from the Natchez Trace Parkway to State Route 145.

Hill Brothers was awarded this project located near Clarendon in Monroe County, Arkansas that includes the construction of 2.2 miles of Highway 79 at a new location.

In December 2007 Hill Brothers Construction was awarded the Toyota Frontage Road contract.

Hill Brothers is presently performing as a major subcontractor to Purnell Construction Company, LLC on this contract for the New Orleans District Corps of Engineers.

This contract includes grading, drainage, bridge construction and paving to construct the new SR 30 from US Hwy 45 to the existing SR 30 in Prentiss County.

Hill Brothers performed the construction of 0.113 miles of a prestressed concrete beam bridge and the approaches on Wilmuth Street in Iuka, MS. The project included clearing and grubbing, removal of the existing bridge, new bridge construction, excavation, erosion control, utility relocations and maintenance of traffic.

The components of this contract include Earthquake Retrofit Project I-2 and Ramps IL, D, NO & G for the I-40 Bridge over the MS River in Memphis, TN.
