This project consisted of constructing a new concrete trestle on offset alignment over Willow Creek, mile 368.90, Cairo Subdivision, in Wickliffe, Kentucky for Canadian National Railroad.

The railroad bridge that was constructed is 3,396.75 linear feet. The project also includes 61,500 lf of HP 14 x 89 Piles; 952,000 lb. of structural steel bracing; 1,652 cys of 5,000 PSI Concrete; 352,184 lb.. of reinforcing steel; the erection of 162 concrete spans weighing 72,000 lb. each; 6,792 linear feet of walkways and the demolition of 3,396 linear feet of an existing timber railroad bridge. Along with the construction of the new bridge, Hill Brothers was responsible for the fill material on the approaches of both ends of the new structure. Although hindered by high water in this area, the total construction work time allowed the project completion date to be within CN’s contract requirements.
