Hill Brothers is presently performing as a major subcontractor to Purnell Construction Company, LLC on this contract for the New Orleans District Corps of Engineers. This project includes the construction of a new concrete T-wall in the front and adjacent to Estelle No. 1 Pumping Station; placing scour protection, extending discharge tubes through the concrete T-wall, installation of butterfly valves, installing levee sections, stability berms, concrete slope-paving for scour protection, removal of the existing sheet pile I-wall; and fertilizing, seeding, and mulching all embankment.
