Hill Brothers was awarded this project located near Clarendon in Monroe County, Arkansas that includes the construction of 2.2 miles of Highway 79 at a new location. The project will consist of two bridges requiring approximately 4,000 linear feet of bridge construction and more that 1.5 million cubic yards of earthwork. The elevation of the White River has had direct control of the work performed on this project. A river gauge elevation of about 25’ or less is required for access to the project area in order to base the earth work in. An elevation of 22’ or less is needed to allow the base work for the bridge foundation to occur.
