The grading, drainage, and construction of seven bridges on I-269 (S.R. 385, Paul Barrett Parkway) beginning north of S.R. 57 and extending to south of Raleigh-LaGrange Road, including paving on side roads.

The grading, drainage, and construction of eight bridges on I-269 (S.R. 385, Paul Barrett Parkway) beginning south of Raleigh-LaGrange Road and extending to south of Macon Road, including paving on side roads.

This total project is 7.484 miles of 4-lane divided median, including 260 acres clearing and grubbing and one cross roads. The project will require three seasons to construct grade, drainage and bridges. This work also includes over 3,000,000 CY of excavation; over 1,000,000 LBS reinforcement steel; approximately 400,000 tons of solid graded rock; 8,000 LF temporary slope drain; 120,000 LF silt fence and 500 rock checks that were placed the first season; catch basins, diversion channels and sod. The project is to be completed in 34 months not including the pavement structure work.
